Our first kiss -
longed for, with trepidation.
Eyes locking briefly,
like the headlights
of oncoming vehicles.
Navigating the darkness,
on a collision course,
driven by lover's dreams.
The impact -
softly crushing;
delightfully devastating
preemptive fears.
Trembling,
beautifully lost
in the ecstatic realization
of a destination reached;
a journey begun!

Well expressed. I like the driving analogy, the driving rhythm and the striking imagery which you use. Especially:
"Eyes locking briefly,
like the headlights
of oncoming vehicles.
Navigating the darkness,
on a collision course,
driven by lover's dreams."
