I Was In My Local Supermarket The Other Day When A Song Came On That I Love And Hadn’t Heard For Years And I Just Had To Sing Along.......

I was in my local supermarket the other day at the till when I heard a song I hadn’t heard for years and years, most people won’t love it, and some of the words are silly but I just love the tune, for me it’s so smooth, relaxing and easy going, it goes:-

 

“Hello, you fool I love, c’mon join the joyride ... be a joyride”

 

Like I said, silly words but I just love the tune. The lovely tune has been playing in my head ever since. I had to look them up to see who was singing for I didn’t have a clue and it’s Roxette.

 

So there I was at the till singing quietly to myself with a few people looking at me but I didn’t care, I was enjoying myself.

supermarket songs can be such a bugbear, but hey sometimes they can catch you unaware because they're so prevalent you don't even listen.

But the strange thing is, as far as I know, this supermarket never plays songs or any music! So I just assume the Manager was away, and somebody else was in charge!
