A virtuous Woman

To be young a bride your beauty must not be of jewels gold adorning and braiding hair, beauty is vain charm is deceit, favour is fickle, beauty fades and virtue stays. Remember your vows every day and each word, as your husband's prize be won by your love and peace.
Obey God as mild and meek, a quiet spirit immaculate, holy gentle calm, be god-fearing let your conduct always be pious. Praise the Lord in good and in bad times, in feast and in famine.

Blessed be the husband with a virtuous wife, her value is more than diamonds her worth than gold. He may trust in her and as his pride. In every duty is of thrift she is strong her hands are willing she is kind well praised and deserving.
She wakes early while it is dark, her candle burns at night. She does not know idleness nor sloth. She cares well for her household and instructs her children in wisdom, above all she respects and loves her husband as his wife.

Time will gladden your heart and bring you joy, may you be well and of good health. In times of trouble and in sickness pain and fear your faith be strong, the Word be a lamp and a flame bring light warmth and comfort.
Blessed you will be to see them grow, your children your sons your daughters your pride and delight pleasing you always, graced by family and friends with you in old age happy and content.

This is based on the end of Proverbs chapter 31 in the Bible,Tom, isn't it.
It highlights her trust and happiness in working in the family. There is indication there of how she is wise in her advice too, and how her husband is thankful for her and her children too. It doesn't mean she is perfect, nor her husband, but they work well in complement to each other, and following the Lord's Word! Rhiannon
