the dogs of night howl down the moon,
the stars do twist the wind in tune,
the lighter lights dim in the bulb
as is the night the story's told.
grey wolves commune in tight a pack,
a girl is seen way in the back;
a huntress nay but hunted prey
as alpha wolf does howl and bay.
in loin of cloth and limbs of dirt,
her instinct now will soon revert
to loins of fur and fur of grey
the night to love more than the day.
when in her place by him does tell,
the wolf form in the female dwells.
