You are always with me
As I am always with you
We looked out to tomorrow
Until tomorrow was no more
A type of faith holds me to you
For my faith is not in the world
It is with you who once did contain me
I grew through your strength
And blessed I was to have you
Life is change inconstant and unknowable
And strange life is without you
Less bright and tainted by the loss of you
Yet the world is beautiful as you showed me as a child
The stars shine down upon your rest
Just as everything and everyone passes into eternity
so we are present in the eternal light
which does not have a name
All we mortals can do is reflect on the providence of love
