I won’t forget forget-me-nots;
petals blue as the sky;
they always make me smile a lot
and will until I die.

And, at their centre, is a dot
of yellow like the sun.
I won’t forget forget - me- nots
for remembering them's such fun.

Aravenei (National tree of Venezuela)

Golden tree of Venezuela;
rooted in the harshest soil;
like the work of a poor tailor,
beauty rises from your toil
and each of your slender branches
is a hand that holds a light
that, together, make a mirror
for the golden sun so bright.
