Sherlock Holmes was dead; bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher; Marilyn Monroe had been stabbed in her shower cubicle; Mussolini, poisoned with Lapsang Souchong laced with cyanide; Albert Einstein, shot in the back of the head with a snub nosed revolver.
There was only me and Robinson Crusoe left at our crazy fancy dress party and, by process of elimination, I could only deduce that because the killer wasn’t me it must be her.
“Why did you do it, Charlotte?”, I asked as she took off her Robinson Crusoe wig, throwing it to the floor and pointed her loaded revolver towards me, “Four of the finest scientific minds of our generation and you murdered all of them in cold blood”.
Charlotte tapped on the living room window of our Nuclear fall-out bunker and then looked out across the arid, grey wasteland that had been left by nuclear bombardment.
“Justice”, she said.
