There was once a poor husband and wife, named Rothbert and Gilda who lived in a small cottage at the edge of a forest and one day, while she was out gathering fruits, Gilda found a golden crown and, putting it on, she was transported to a palace where she was a princess married to a handsome prince named Atlas
And she was very happy having the life of a princess and thought that she wouldn't mind being married to the prince.
But she felt guilty because she was being unfaithful to her husband and so she hid the crown from him and never told him about it.
However, one heart cant live happily in two worlds and one day Gilda felt as if she liked the life of a princess more than living with her poor husband and so she told him about the magic crown and said that she was going to leave him to live as a princess forever.
Her poor husband pleaded with her not to leave saying that though he was not rich he loved her more than all the riches in the world; more than life itself.
But his wife had made up her mind; she wanted to be a princess.
And so she put on the crown and went back to her handsome prince.
But then, one day she was talking to her prince and she asked,
"Do you love me?".
And, to her shock, the prince replied,
"I cannot love you because I am just a dream".
"A dream?", asked the woman.
"Yes the magic crown gives you the life you most desire but the one thing it can't give you is real love", said the Prince.
And hearing this the woman remembered what her husband had said; how deeply he had loved her.
"Love was the one thing he could give me", she said, "Real love but I didn't appreciate it".
And saying that, she took off her crown and returned to her poor husband and because he loved her he was not angry; infact, he was overjoyed that she had come back to him.
After that, though they were both poor, because they had love, they lived happily ever after.
