1st Verse:
There once was a Teddy Bear
who only had one tattered ear
and, ‘cause of a pet cat,
only one eye.
2nd Verse:
His owner threw him in a skip
and he was taken to the tip
and, on a rubbish dump,
was left to lie.
Chorus:
Poor little bear;
Oh, Poor little bear.
Nobody cared for
that poor little bear.
3rd Verse:
Then, suddenly, through the sky,
Old Santa clause was passing by
when, looking down, he saw
that little ted.
4th
“Why don’t you come home with me.
I’ll fix that ear and eye, you’ll see
and you’ll look good as new” ,
old Santa said.
Chorus:
Happy little bear;
Happy little bear
Now Somebody cares for
that happy little bear.
