The first day of the Spring

is here at last;

daffodils, golden, bursting

from the ground;

resembling emerald angels

trumpet blasts

announcing the new season

with their sound.

The first day of the Spring

is here at last

and Earth looks as bright

as a bride to be;

now old cold wintertime

is in the past

and birds, like Earths newborns, coo

merrily.
