There were four jolly gentlemen
named Neil and Roland; Stan and Ben.
Whenever people said their names
they always played this funny game
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
and Roland Roll-Around.
From house to house these men would go
with Christmas lanterns all a glow
and, with big grins from ear to ear,
spread glad tidings and Christmas cheer.
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
and Roland Roll-Around.
Sadly, the four men passed away;
t’was on a cold December day
but when St Peter read their names
all of the Angels played this game.
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
and Roland Roll-Around.
Although the men are dead and gone,
their names continue to live on
‘cause of this silly little song
so, one more time, please play along.
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
Stand Dupp; Ben Dover; Neil Down;
and Roland Roll-Around.
