Do not let the lying tongues of your fears wrap themselves around your heart and do not loosen the fingers of that hand that clings upon hope.
Hold onto hope as if it were the dearest treasure of your soul; hold onto your hope as if it were the light of seeing; as if it were the breath that keeps you living.
Let hope be your friend in the darkness; trust in its hand to lead you along the true path of refuge, through the night and mist of your worries and sorrows.
For fear, only by fear, becomes true while hope, only by hoping, is made real. Keep hope as your candle, burning through the night and at the dying of its flame you will, I promise, see the rising of the sun.
