Idea for poem structure: A Word Symphony

By well-wisher

Drip
by
drip
and
drop
by
drop,
rain starts to fall
then will not stop.
It glimmers and glistens
and shimmers and shines,
it rattles and clatters
and splashes and…
But then the sun;
great noble sun,
its joyous face,
begins to shine.
Spreading broad rays;
its golden gaze
touching the world
with warmth divine.
Red and
yellow and
orange and blue;
green and pink and
indigo too
out comes a rainbow
of beautiful hues.
But
then,
suddenly…
Dark clouds prowl in;
wild winds howling,
claws of lightning;
thunder growling.
Crash goes the thunder;
flash goes the lightning;
the sky splits asunder,
it’s fierce and its frightening.
But then the sun,
great noble sun,
its joyous face
begins to shine.
Spreading broad rays,
its golden gaze
touching the world
with warmth divine.
Now
wind subsides
into a gentle breeze,
birds start to twitter merrily in trees,
bobbing blooms flirt with butterflies and bees
and all of the world seems to be at ease.
