The little green frog
loves being alive,
so he jumps for joy.
He jumps to verse 5.
2
The little green frog
can do jumping tricks,
like tumbles and cartwheels,
and jumps to verse 6.
3
The little green frog
would jump up to heaven
if his legs were longer
but jumps to verse 7.
4
The little green frog
has been jumping all day.
Now he’s tired and sleepy,
so he really must say
"Goodbye!".
5
The little green frog
is so pleased to meet you
and he hopes you like jumping.
So jump to verse 2.
6
The little green frog
jumps about with glee.
Leaping over toadstools,
he jumps to verse 3.
7
The little green frog
loves jumping for sure.
He jumps all day long
then jumps to verse 4.

Oh well-wisher, it works
Oh well-wisher, it works alright. I can see me reading this to children and getting them to keep up brilliantly with the jumping and that's the thing it entertains and it gets the poetry across as an aside and that's the real skill to it. It's a belter and no mistake, I wish I'd written it.

This is lovely, I imagine it illustrated and think that it's very publishable.
