The Nodding Flower (Children’s Rhyme)

“It’s such a lovely day”, I said.
The daffodil nodded her head.

“Do you enjoy the Summer, then?”.
The daffodil nodded again.

“Would you like a drink? I will pour”.
She nodded her gold head once more.

With watering can, I poured some out
and the happy flower danced about.
