Morning After

Wanderings in silence,
This valley of amazing hills,
These shadows of figures,
Flickering with blue hues,
Too choose, to abuse,
To live with animal instincts,
Alone now, swaying in the wind,
A joke about a master,
A living man of sins,
Crippled in a box,
Swolen and bruised,
Sly like a fox,
Holding his paw,
One man said to the other,
How do you hold these buckets of water,
The other replied,
I am but a cow being prepared for slaughter,
The buckets I carry are not mine to talk of,
They belong to my brother,
I hold his burden, and his ladies on my shoulder,
That must surely be a heavy price,
it is the price of love,
I would murder my self to feel it again,
One woman said to the other,
She is but a simple queen, living an exotic dream,
I would give my life to take her place,
The other replied,
But sister, we are already living breathing queens,
Your desire is for materials, not a life of enchanting dreams,
Take this pill and it will all go away,
You will wake up tomorrow as the night turns to day,
Your soul will be melted in all that is pure,
The heights will be dazzling,
The lows will be fearsome,
Be brave kingly knight and hold your own,
For one day in the future,
You will be crowned on your throne.
