Tears speak unuttered words,
Silently they trickle
Down a child’s cheeks
Hot from the fury
Of being unappreciated,
Or worse, ignored.
Tears speak to those

As emotions stirring deep within
Bubble forth, leaving
Black mascara trails.
Tears speak unvoiced
And yet, he has no need
When inner turmoil
Tells of his loss,
The death of
His father…
