Lilac

Branches long of lilac
lilac longing
lolling lilac
in the stoppered bottle, tall
bottle washed of olive oil.
Your scent seduces very near
so did that lover, once
breathed in my ear.
Fleeting whisper in a life.
Such brief moments lilac dear
for that short time each year
your branches lolling
fill me with longing.

This describes the lilac so well. I love the scent. It reminds me of a cross between carnations and sweet peas. I liked your poem.
