When the lips touch, Flesh on flesh, Enfolding arms and a shared heartbeat. Sweet whispers in the night and the warmth of her hand. "Stay with me." Her gentle breath wanders over my cheek. A flood of emotion overwhelms me And I reach out and hold her. To feel the smoothness of my skin And her soft hair brushing my shoulder. Then she sinks and dissolves into darkness. I reach out once more, Trying to grasp the light behind the dream.
