My stories

02: Mythcraft

Grunfle stretched his arms and yawned loudly. He checked his sundial at the front window, it was 4:30. He fuddled about on his bed before grabbing a crimson robe and hat. He put his backpack on and swiped some money from his cupboard. Grunfle left his house and walked along the sturdy planks beneath him.

01 Mythcraft

inspiration from the hobbit - This is the first chapter of my first book. Though i am only 10, I really would appreciate some feedback. Thank you. BigFish. Far north across the globe lays a small island untouched by modern man. It was divided by six governments each representing their own race: the orcs, humans, gremlins, hopplekins, reptoids and goblins. However one hopplekin called Grunfle had achieved what no other race had done before. This is his story.

Conflict of the planets

Inspired by war of the worlds. This is a work in progress. I would really like some feedback. It was a horrific experience thinking back to the invasion, seeing countless lives being plucked one by one and being toyed with by other beings.

Leviathan

An old man stared at the vast sea clutching a precious charm. His wooden boat creaked and swayed in the sea while the crew loaded the cannons and prepared the harpoons. The day had come, the war had begun. The sun was almost down when suddenly a large figure rammed the mast of the boat, knocking everyone from their feet. The creature leapt over the crew revealing itself.

Opera of the mind

I was inspired by 'Operation Red Jerricho' by Joshua Mowll. The fireworks rose as the constellations danced in their powerful rays. The sea creatures leapt to the heavens as the moon and stars sung to the minds of the gods.
