Hi Rhiannon,
what an amazing tree of such natural beauty. Loved how you describe it with words. I too have never heard of the handkerchief tree. A very enlightening piece of writing.
this has got to be one of my favourite poems of yours. It made me want to walk out with nature and breathe in that wonderful freshair, taking in the spring colours too.
Thank you for putting this incredibly honest piece of writing on here Tina, it's certainly an eye opener which I wasn't totally aware of, not that I didn't know about Parkinson's, but not how extreme it could become.
I like how you draw attention to the old man's feelings of his childhood and then his acceptance of old age, but that childhood is something to be treasured and should be lived to the full. Young people certainly can put a smile...
A great tribute to this tiny bird Rhiannon. I especially loved that last stanza and had a picture of them all cuddling up together. Congrats on the well deserved cherries.

You never know Tina, your daughter's spirit maybe flying high, as like the swallows she's free to go where ever she chooses now.
Loved your poem of observing these clever birds.

It sounded to me like a message from an angel, that was reminding you that there was more to having sex than just lust.
An interesting dream indeed.
