love all your word sounds - that last part specially, and the rhythm you create it is like billowing flames suddenly darting out as the wind changes. The poem gets more energy as it progresses, evoking the fear of uncontrolled fire, and then the...
This is beautiful. "I let it hold me in its stirrings" is perfect for that need to look deep into flames, not look away, as if in respect for what is happening to the trees, their long lives.
To start with, it seemed the dream country, somewhere anyone could earn a living by writing. But if all the writing is rubbish there, (because no one has to try, maybe?) why would anyone want to read? Even a good writer's mind might become...

I am looking forward to the crescendo! It will be sad if there are to be no more outings for Perfidia, she is a BRILLIANT character - don't suppose she could set up a detective agency of her own, with Chaos? Would love to see her outwitting some...
