The dandelion flapped its leaves,
wishing that it could fly.
It loved the winged birds who weaved
about the broad, blue sky
but then, one day, that little weed's
wish started coming true;
it scattered all its feathered seeds
and, on the wind, they flew.

Nice, neat and funny. Good
Nice, neat and funny. Good rhythm too, though I felt I had to read 'wing-ed' as 2 syllables, and wondered if it would be easier therefore with something like 'the flying birds' or 'it loved to see the birds who weaved' - ? Rhiannon
