Free time taunts me,
says I've no imagination
because only boring people get bored.
I search Youtube for something,
anything, to entertain me.
If only for a minute.
But with no one to impress
I'm lost.
Watching a snake eat a hippo
just isn't the same when you're alone.
Add it to the list of things
I've ruined through analysis.
I will never watch Saddam
swing lightheartedly again.

My python hasn't progessed
My python hasn't progessed from rats to hippos yet, luckily he'll only reach about ten foot so I shouldn't need to buy a bigger freezer to house frozen hippos till feeding day. It'samazing what you can find on youtube.... some people find amusement in some bizarre things. Nice poem, enjoyed it.

This is cleverly bittersweet

This is cleverly bittersweet poem with the first line perfectly in tune with the last.
It’s almost a loop – like Saddam’s noose- hypnotic, final. Good.
