He had no plans of returning. At least that’s what he thought as he looked at the sinking sun. The beach was empty, save a few stray dogs that roamed around sniffing the garbage left by careless picnickers. He stretched, looked around, and slowly started walking towards the makeshift hut that had been his home for the past four weeks. Finally, he had earned his freedom. His lonely life in the city and the struggles at the workplace that summed up the monotony of his existence, now seemed like a bad dream.
The gentle breeze carrying the salty vapours of the sea enveloped him, energizing him to look forward to welcome the next day and experience the beauty of a lazy morning.
