True confessions

Selbie and Freddie joined the mass of people waiting outside backstage. The din was still deafening but Selbie didn’t care. Pressed hard against the plastic railing keeping the crowd back Selbie waited. Finally when MoonUnit stepped out waving and smiling she ducked under the barrier and ran towards them. Dodging the clutches of security guards she stood in front of her friends arms folded. They seemed so surprised to see her they said nothing. Even Katy was speechless. All around her people were waiting to see what would happen. “Good song” Selbie said finally, “I liked it”. Olly nodded still slightly stunned. “So that was your apology?”
“Yes, didn’t you like it?” he said sounding nervous. For her answer Selbie just grabbed his shirt and pulled him into a rough kiss.

Cameras were flashing crazily and everyone within five miles seemed to be screaming. Olly Glenpatrick was kissing this random girl! What was happening? Behind them Vince and Rabbit were cheering while Katy and Sakura giggled uncontrollably. Pulling back Selbie grinned at him, “I love you Olly”
“I love you too Selbie”
“Really?”
“Do I have to answer that?” he said raising an eyebrow.
“No I guess not” she chuckled. Taking his hand they walked down the red carpet followed by MoonUnit and Freddie - who had slipped in from somewhere.Surrounded by her friends Selbie had never felt so good.

She wondered what her mum would say if she saw her kissing a rockstar on TV.

But then again, Selbie didn’t really care.
