He visits regularly.
Once a week in fact.
Reverberating in russet hues.
Radiating,
overtones,
undertones,
Relentless love.
He communicates gently,
a glance,
a touch,
As though oceans lie between us.
Sometimes he tells me;
“I love you Trace” he says.
Apologetically.
We dance together,
apart,
souls intertwining,
mesmerizing.
Sweetest symphony,
of silent yearning.
Pure longing.
Eyes open.
Realizing.
Agonizing.
Shut stormy shades!
Now; veiled denying
(A complicated concerto
this karmic innuendo).
And yet,
My love
(her love)
He visits regularly…

The cherry was well-deserved :) This poem has a great sense of rhythm throughout; particularly the third stanza:
'We dance together,
apart,
souls intertwining,
mesmerizing.
Sweetest symphony,
of silent yearning.
Pure longing.'
Well done!
Magic x
