I am slowly loosening my grip on the affairs of the world.

Aging more each day, my mind and body are feeling tired
My interests are now centred inwards, no longer inspired.

Love is something that matters no more to me
Only in the pages of the past, the tale maybe
No regrets, no reason to read on and see
Each moment of the decline now that I’m free
Lost in echoes of the wonderful mystery,
You are my only last, bright memory.
