An Obligatory Response to Ouroboros

Once a boy looked upon you with loving,
wondrous eyes that made you turn away timidly,
and say, "Stop."
And he did, so then he turned to the world with the precarious desire to become more.
He will find that adaptability is not
an onerous task for the virile.
The bodily premeditation will follow
the minds forethought.
In these wild twists ones sensitivity will ossify,
while carnal appetites start to bloom,
and a callus layer of self imposed ignorance
shall wrap itself neatly around the tender memories
of your bashful and soft demeanor.
As is customary when blazing a trail
in search of the unwavering world,
one is subject to the gravity of the ardor.
Thus one day a beaten, slow smiling, worn man
will find himself in your presence once more.
As his eyes find yours,
all those safegaurds will turn to vapor,
and the young boy will look upon you once more
with the same loving, wondrous eyes
and he will be awaiting your response.
