A lost son, outgrown,
would he if he could,
find his wey home,
back to his family,
into your mamas arms?
She cried on sunday,
she looks for you everyday,
Walks past, doesn't go in,
wouldn't know what to say.
With courage, yet nervous,
your mama knocks the door
& without looking up, she
starts to sing:
Atho you cent speak mii language,
you have your own we to let mi kno,
what you want or need & how you feel.
Do you think you don't need mi?
do you think youve a grown up bebi?
I wonder if you even want to come back,
but when you think you want me or need me,
I'll be here waiting,
you can find your we,
you'll be home soon,
I kno
I can tell,
I am your mama.
