Elusive cherries

Going for the cherry
is driving me crazy.

Those elusive cherries
that hang as a pair.
That tantalizing duo
that drives me to despair

For sure I'll be given it,
even if I write forever.
Dedication to the verse.
I will not be dissuaded ever.

Lost in my thoughts
I scramble for the word.
Searching for the rhyme
so it can be heard.

It should all be smooth and
the words must not grate.
They should click into place
as I try to narrate.

All will be done
when the cherries are hung.
Bang at the top
of the verse that I’ve done.

New PipMic Well earn't cherry! So,so pleased for you, makes one feel good inside yippeeee..to you. I used to love them,but can't chew them now.Or as kids,we dangle them on our ears,and even give,them apolish to shine! Like Robot cherry! on AbcTales whatever the reason for.
