As I sauntered almost drifting in slow motion,
eyes freaky...off the wall
gaze into oblivion unaware...
as mesmerizing harmonies
drifted on the breeze,
many colours transcending
across the ancient fields and valleys,
a trance like state
our eyes tantalized
by what we see...
but suddenly becomes unobtainable,
communities seem to undulate
like waves upon an ocean,
painted faces locked in
their own minds...seperate and free...
racing like wild horses on the wind,
darkness now ever present,
precious dreams wrapped in black velvet...
as the music rocks a nation
sending out wave upon wave
of hypnotic sounds...
blending like colours on canvas.

new Hi! Jenny
amazing and beautiful,
just great. The way you write it,
capturing in colour and images.
Like you say roll's of the tongue.
Great loved it all.
They are stating now disco light's
some affected from colour and spinning.
Stanza
Many colours transcending
across the ancient fields and valleys,
a trance like state
our eyes tantalised
by what we see
but suddenly becomes unobtainable.
My word what an achievement of words.

- really love this imagery, a beautiful poem and my new favourite of yours, too. Have started reading your story now and that too is just as rich and descriptive as this is! I'm only up tp Pt3 but I'll let you know what I think when I've finished - think it's brilliant so far, though, really enjoying it!
Really well done with this, you captured the spirit of the people really well, I think :)
Hope you have a lovely weekend,
Rachel xx

Love this poem. Reading it through it was mesmerising, I was imagining someone in a meditative or trance induced state reaching for a higher plane.
