There is no bliss
like the bliss of grace.
An unearned gift
that spills from
the hands
of something
far greater than us.
A reminder that
beyond the reach
of our comprehension
there is a source,
the same source
that calls mighty
trees from the ground
and causes wolves
to howl at the moon.

Interesting to read that God
Interesting to read that God causes wolves to howl at the moon, I've never thought of it that way.
Mind you, I have always considered that grace had to be earned and was surprised to find that it is quite a contentious issue as to whether it is a gift or it is earned...
So thanks for the thought provoking poem.

grace is born in joy, so
grace is born in joy, so howling at the moon qualifies on that count.
