Conundrum

Social work have given us a working agreement, to be signed by Monday. Part of this is for me to see their "independent psychologist". When we looked him up on the internet, we could not find anything about him AT ALL. He is not even on either of the sites for psychologists registered in Britain.
Bearing in mind that anyone who has been through social work wringer says don't go to their psychologists if you can help it, and if you have to, get a second opinion, I am very concerned. Apparently the highly qualified (according to GP) Health Centre psychologist is not qualified in the areas social work require. Social work say they don't know why I want to see anyone other than their independent psychologist anyway, as their opinion would be "irrelevent". From previous experience the panel will accept whatever social work put forward.
Once whatever their psychologist says is on my record, it will be there forever, along with me being diagnosed with depression and refusing to take medication, and our child's school saying he was over anxious, had frequent nightmares and bedwetting. Neither of the latter is true, and the GP and school have told social work this. But social work still bring them up as grounds for our child being in care. Along with my not cooperating, when I point this out.
According to my solicitor it makes no difference how many letters I have from therapists, GPs or psychologists - if social work say I'm not cooperating, the panel will not give our child back. Even with no proof I was or am any threat to our child. According to my solicitor the longer a child is in care the more likely he is so stay in care, because it is felt he has "settled", and giving him back to his family would be destabilising.
Social work have said if I do not cooperate by refusing to see their psychologist they will put our child into permanent care. If I see the psychologist and he says all the things social work want to hear, they have, at last, real ammunition.
What do I do?
