Silly O'Clock

What time do you want to get up?
What’s that you say?
Silly o’clock?
Ohhhhh, I’d not do that if I were you
Funny things happen when you do!
You’ve not heard? Oh I must say
It happened to me the other day.
The porridge went pink and started to sing
Threw it self over everything
The clock tocked backwards
Toc tic, toc tic
A book staggered around
Looking rather sick
The sink was full of penguins
The fridge full of washing up
The cat started jumping
And turned into a pup
My clothes were in a basket
Sitting on the head
Of an Elvis shaped lamp
That was standing on my bed
My brother was crowing loudly
In a tone that made me wince
Everything was crazy
None of it made sense
Sooooooooooo
If I were you, I'd think it over
Don’t get up too early in the morning
Silly o’clock is never good
You’d do well to heed my warning!
