A spider creates cobweb and in the end devours its own creation,
A silk worm creates its cocoons and in it meets its own destruction.
A deer looks lovely with its beautiful horns,
But when chased by a lion it meets its end being caught in bushes of thorns.
A moth has to meet its end because of its love for fire,
Ignorant of the cause of its doom it always succumbs to its desire.
Pied crested cuckoo drinks water only from the rain
It has to wait for a year for the succeeding rain to drink again.
The male Ruddy goose stays separated from its beloved female for the whole night,
We are not sure whether to call it a curse or a blessing in disguise, to be right.
The lion eats the fresh prey and leaves the remnants for the wolf to eat,
The same wolf kills the lion when it is old and weak and enjoys its meat.
A mighty elephant under its feet cannot kill a minute ant.
But with their bite inside its trunk an ant can kill an elephant.
The peacock does not need mating for pregnancy,
She peacock has to eat the sperm fallen out from male while dancing fiercely.
During day time bats sleep hanging upside down from a support,
Its excreta comes our through the mouth which is a well-known fact.
Wild dogs make wound on their prey and eat them when alive,
Once the prey is dead they no more eat its flesh which behind they leave.
A crocodile has a unique style of eating its catch,
Throws it up to fall into its open mouth and then gulps in to its stomach.
A cow stores its food in the stomach while grazing the grass,
Then leisurely it ruminates to grind and crush.
Elephants are trapped when lured by the sensation of touch.
A snake eats the ants and the ants eat the dead snake to avenge after a search.
Crows eat other’s flesh even if it is rotten,
But none eats a crow’s flesh the fact well-known.
The horses sleep while standing and the cuckoos leave their eggs for crows to hatch,
The monkeys chew their food leiuserly stored in their glands which out of greed they did snatch.
A wag tail bird has its wing designed excelling the modern aeronautics
It is evident when up in the sky it performs acrobatics.
The weaver bird is excellent in weaving its nest hanging down a palm leaf,
Its two storied construction can be a university lesson in the class to brief.
There may not be any scientific studies on the facts told,
They are put forth for comments as these are stories, age old.
