The spoiled child

Last night I went to Walmart,
As I walked in I saw a man greet me saying "Hi Welcome"
I walked further in, where I found fresh fruit.
I saw two little girls with a pink dress a smile on their fragile faces and a doughnut in their hands.
I have no idea where they came from and what their life was like. I assumed they were happy children.
Next to me was a girl that seemed as if she were a thirteen year old and her little sister. The little sister was running and yelling. The older girl made it obvious she was embarrassed. The little sister saw the two little girls with the doughnut and decided she wanted one too. The older sister made her answer clear. "NO". But the little sister insisted on having a glazed doughnut with pink sprinkles. Seeing that she was not allowed to have a doughnut, she threw a fit and yelled at her sister. She made a disaster of the situation. The older sister grabbed her hand and said "Lets go, now". She managed to walk away from the bakery fifteen steps until the little girl hit the big sister and ran back to the bakery to get her doughnut. I looked around and said," where is her mother?". Mother was busy somewhere ells. This thirteen year old was dealing with something her mother should have dealt with. I felt motivated to go tell her mother to help her daughter control herself. Then I though, this girl, is not going to learn to respect the answer "no" if she keeps getting what she wants. The way she is now is nothing to what she will be when she is older.
I now see that most children are controlling their parents by throwing fits, whining, and false tears. The parents are suddenly the favorite toy. A child gets what it wants and when its older its spoiled. They disrespect. They become careless. Then the parent says, "I gave you everything, where did I fail".
A child should be given what they need. Privileges are given when they earn them not demand them.
Children are children and they need to be instructed not spoiled. I don't blame the child or the sister. I blame her parents.
