Like Mist
We pass by like mist
Floating and silent
The lightest touch
Becomes the longest thought
I see by the colour of your eyes
That we’ve been here before
Words will chain themselves
And never let go
I am one small photograph
You are a painting on the wall
These are things we might see
When the world shrinks small
But still nothing will be said
Everything will be known
Orange moons and yellow suns
And lights of shining armour
Will pass
Like mist
Floating and silent
Like that longest thought

I echo the above replies -
I echo the above replies - but did you mean knights rather than lights?
Best lines for me are:
The lightest touch
Becomes the longest thought
and...
I am one small photograph
You are a painting on the wall
Possibly, at least for me, the last few lines aren't quite as strong as the rest but I think that might be down to my opinion rather than constructive comment.
