Its Just Not Working Anymore.

It wasn't working anymore, just wasn't working. Tears welled up in his eyes. they'd been together a lifetime, but it just wasn't working anymore.

Memories flooded back, when they were first together. Nearly 22 years ago, on his Birthday.

He remembered the time when it was new,new like fresh grass. He remembered the good times, the nights at the disco, everyone looking, wow what a beautiful thing. But it just wasn't working anymore.

In all that time, they'd never been seperated, ever!

They went everywhere together, absolutely everywhere. They even took a shower together, such was the bond. But its just not working anymore.

Went to the states together, route 66, what a time, great time, best time of his life. But now its just not working.

It had started to go wrong a long time ago but he had ignored it, hoped things would change and it did for a while, but the past few days he suddenly realised its just not working anymore.

It wasn't the money, money never mattered, it had to be fixed, he'd do anything to fix it.

Thats it, he'd fix it, make it like new again. Get things moving again. He couldn't do it on his own, he'd need help, professional help, yes that was it, couldn't give up on it now, no way.

Fucking watch! Maybe its just a spring or something. Take it to the jewellers in the morning.
