Blue Moon – he chose;
roses from my love,
but, in a day or so,
in their art deco vase,
framed by a window,
they withered –
sun-dried...
And yet, like a dove
I found, fell prey
to the Kite, I buried
by a beaming Buddha
in my back-yard...
and the leaf...
the last one to fall
from my Tulip Tree,
given, but for a moment
the gift of knowing
what it is to fly...to write
its poem on the clouds...
an epitaph for all
who ask no more
than to exist
for this, here, now...
the rose, the dove
and the leaf,
they will live on,
in yesterday’s sky.

Hello! Tina, Beautiful poem.
Blue moon,roses,and art deco vase.
You mention a dove,strange dove of peace1
In the paper yesterday an artist his drawing or sketch of a dove,is now going to be used on side,
of aeroplane's. Missed you' Wheatsheaf' and your
great writing as an author to read. Fab; evening!
Wonderful book of 'Blightersrock' wonderful pictures
and story all fitting to the photos! arived by post! But overwhelmingly signed by him, and like you said once, I am inspiration. put on here now. Editor's speech on all, and those couldn't come. Next one is a Tuesday 15th May 2012. And Editor gave such a good one on someone 'shandy' gone to my head,it was of me,
couldn't believe OMG! before reading. So many good readers. Ray went missing, got home told me went out, burgher, but Editor (Tony) assured me be back!
He was, scary, not in room or downstairs, saw 'Tony'.
Still think you are a terrific writer and in prose,
I can't do! Love always "Fireworks In The Snow" of your's,so bravely written! which once you let me kindly read!

Hi Tina...
You never cease to amaze me with the way in which you manage to somehow take ordinary words and string them together to create beauty and magic, time after time after time.
One of my favourites of yours as well.
