three of them
soiled and ripped
slump against the
wall awaiting incineration

a triptych of bedsit DNA
worn fabric marking
the stains of humanity
a forensic nightmare
to decipher those

who passed through
the refugee
the desperate
the lonely
losers and dreamers

illegal substances
death bedsit 2
cheap alcohol shared
a birth still born
pimps and brutal sex

gnawing on black
plastic pillows
of waste
the rats remain
as sitting tenants
