Lawn Mowing Man

He’s a sweaty kind of bloke
riding round on his 4 stroke
with a real edge of badness on the blade .
He’ll tell you to keep off the grass
every time he goes past ,
its mower madness out there with no shade .

You hear him whipper snipping
and doing some hedge clipping for you
and he’ll put the sprinkler on in the heat of the day .
You might see him pull the string
and call it some stupid thing ,
if it doesn’t start almost right away .

He’s not that well known
in his coming and going
but he’s doing the best that he can ,
keeping things down and from getting overgrown ,
they call him the lawn mowing man .

God must look down
with a smile on his face
at this wonderful place ,
as the grass it keeps growing
and the man who keeps mowing away everyday .

He’s a dusty kind of dude
cutting through the neighborhood
with a mower and a blower on the job ,
He’ll manicure your lawn
and the weeds will soon be gone ,
all care of the franchised mowing mob .
