A froth of ocean slaps
at the shoreline
winds pushing
foghorn blasts in the bay.
Forest silhouettes salute
a twin-peaked cabin
footsteps in the sand as
misty outlines on the beach
seagulls swooping with
lasting messages
peek-a-boo driftwood smooth
sand and seaweed
clumped in salty disarray.

You have all the elements in this poem Richard,
and what a fine poem it is. Very much enjoyed.
