A kin remember when a wiz wee.
Tryin ma hardest to climb on her knee.
A canny tell you, how emotionally it's cost me
bein forever swiped away, as an annoyin' wee Dee.
Am now in ma fifties, it's got such a hold.
That feelin' all around me of sadness, untold.
Poor mental health is the one thing to blame
No me, her young kid, left out in the rain.
Mum, where are you an' why did you die.
It got tucked away but now l need to cry (out)
Her suicide wasn't meant to be seen
by a lonely wee lassie who was only thirteen.
Maybe one day l hope l will find peace an'
get to grips why my Mother needed such a release ..

So many of us are left behind with unanswered questions. or we never got a chance to say the things we wanted.
