Some sneered at the elephant’s enormous snout;
some jeered she was far too fat;
some joked that the elephants ears stuck out
and flapped about like the wings of a bat;
some poked fun at the elephants miniscule tail;
said her legs were like tree trunks and she was slow as a snail
but the elephant just ignored them and grinned
for elephants, you see, are very thick skinned.

Could imagine my grandvhildren enjoying this WW. I just went back to comment on th Learning one but it had gone. Wasn't sure about the format but I liked the poem. It's s good message.
