and we’ll put a picnic in cooler bags.
Get the deckchairs from the shed and drive to the seaside.
No more pulled curtain dark rooms for us
pressing F5 on our inbox.
When some people make sandwiches.
they know what goes with what.
Basil. Spinach leaves. Cherry tomatoes.
You cut the crusty loaf diagonally
with such enthusiasm.
Our tennis rackets are in the boot of the car.
This is what we’ve been waiting for.
