On the scarcity of love

Oh, can you tell me why
love is in short supply.
Water, I understand;
that trickles through your hand
but how can love run dry?
Money, well that’s printed;
new money must be minted
but love is made of air;
a feeling that we share.
How can feelings be rare?
Diamonds, yes, and gold;
they’re solid things you hold
but love is an emotion;
there should be mountains;
there should be oceans
yet there never seems enough
of that wonderful love stuff.

I really love this poem.
I really love this poem. There's a like button. I think I should press it. You're right. Why is love so hard to find? It shouldn't be in short supply. It's free and everyone wants it. Maybe people are giving love to all the wrong people. So we all have love but we don't like the love we have?

Another lovely sentiment. If people loved a bit more and loathed a bit less, we'd all be gushing little love buckets and the world would be better for it. Words to live by Well Wisher, nice one.
