Below the hopeful street-lights
by the pleasantly appointed hospital,
we see Mars and Venus twinkling
as if it were
"The same great lord in everything" (-"Baghagavita")
as the vast goddess
guides the small
from the blood-lit birth-cord
to passions, dreams, and
feasts from tit to table...
to disease and death for all
The nurse is making rounds
as clerical counts the pounds
before the master scans for sounds:
"please something to astound."
What a sad parade of clowns!
Dr. Feared Enns' with his stethescope,
he'll slip you a bit of rope...
as you twitch and grip the night away
scarcely awake
awaiting fresh leeches
from the lake

What a great line, sean. I think it'll my new catch phrase at work. But don't worry, I'll give you full credit. Enjoyed the read very much.
