down the path,
gorging on
sweet rewards
of our labours...
fingers stained...
glimpsing blackberry,
childhood memories...
juicy ripeness...
a harvest full.

This was me yesterday Jenny. Walking the dog in our local meadows, Blackberry bushes looking really good. Couldn't resist a handfull, but the tell tale stains were there for all to see when I returned home, haha. Really lovely poem. Roy
