Will Heaven be Full of Strawberries

where ripened fruit hang

in globes of juice, their tang

a tease for taste buds

blessed by hands

with strength to pluck them?

Will Heaven be waiting for

our presence in Holy celebration

as our days come to a close,

a final sleep 

as we arrive at that place

in humble attire 

full of expectation, entering

Gates of Redemption

with songs of praise?

Yes, He will fill our needs

with grapes of joy,  

and His strawberries will

be in great supply.
